Please help me graph the following equation... y = 1/3 x + 2

OpenStudy (mathmale):

I'm assuming that your slope is (1/3). Please enclose that fraction in parentheses for added clarity. y=(1/3)x + 2 Here the y-intercept is (0,2). Graph that, please. Use the Draw utility, below.

OpenStudy (hungryafricankid):

thanks

OpenStudy (sneakysquash):

I can't, I'm using OS off my phone and it doesn't have the draw thingy

OpenStudy (mathmale):

Draw it on paper, then. draw a set of x- and y-axes. Plot the point (0,2) Can you take and share a photo of your work?

OpenStudy (sneakysquash):

Yeah....

OpenStudy (sneakysquash):

Well it doesn't show a post picture option, can you kind of explain it?

OpenStudy (sneakysquash):

Like would I dot at the 0 and 2 spot then draw a line intersecting that or no?

OpenStudy (hungryafricankid):

sleek-feathered oneS

OpenStudy (sneakysquash):

Well then...

OpenStudy (hungryafricankid):

What?

OpenStudy (hungryafricankid):

Ok what we need to know for problem
