OpenStudy (halox156):
you got your radius
OpenStudy (mathmale):
Please, would you do as much as you can of each problem BEFORE asking for help.
diameter = 2*radius.
OpenStudy (rz172):
I know it's pi x diameter

OpenStudy (mathmale):
"I know it's pi x diameter" Yes, that's the formula for circumference.
OpenStudy (rz172):
or it could be 2xpi radius
like 14 /2 = 7 and 7 x 7 = 49?
OpenStudy (1davey29):
Circumference=pi*diameter. Diameter=14. Circumference=pi*14=14 pi. 49 pi would be the area as area=pi*r^2 and r=14/2=7 -> 7^2=49. 7*2=14
