OpenStudy (mhchen):

(Medal) How do you tell if a distribution is normal or not, given mean, standard deviation, and the five-number summary?

OpenStudy (callie_love_me):

The 5 number summary gives you the median, minimum, and the maximum. A normal distribution has almost no difference between mean and median. Also check if the minimum and maximum shows any skewness.

OpenStudy (mhchen):

Oh nice! Thank you so much and here's medal :)
