Im not sure what the answer is here but I know it is not an avalanche. Glaciers move at relatively slow speeds, carving away mountains and leaving valleys in their wake. The answer could possibly be valleys, or tarns, or roches moutonées. If this is a beginner geology class my answer would be valleys.
