OpenStudy (nerdychick16):

I think its C

OpenStudy (itz_sid):

In order to get x by itself, you need to divide both sides by -2

OpenStudy (itz_sid):

\[-2x = 7\] \[\frac{ -2x }{ -2 } = \frac{ 7 }{ -2 }\] The -2 cancels on the left side. \[x = \frac{ 7 }{ -2 } = -\frac{ 7 }{ 2 }\] So your answer would be A
