OpenStudy (retireed):

to solve for y.... Y needs to be by itself, which means isolated to one side of the equation all alone What do you need to do to get rid of the X on the left side of the equation?

OpenStudy (alfordabby):

I just figured it out, can you help me with this one? u = 14v. solve for v.

OpenStudy (alfordabby):

the answer to the first one was 15x

OpenStudy (retireed):

Yes y = 15x It's essentially asking the same thing.... You need to just get the v by itself.

OpenStudy (alfordabby):

is it u / 14 ?

OpenStudy (retireed):

Yes
