What is the common difference in the sequence 0,1,8,27

OpenStudy (holsteremission):

There is no common difference between terms... It does look a lot like \(a_n=(n-1)^3\) for \(n\ge1\).

OpenStudy (sshayer):

n is a natural number.

OpenStudy (mhchen):

There would've been a common difference if each consecutive terms have the same value of difference between a term and its previous term. But since there isn't, this doesn't have a common difference.

Directrix (directrix):

0,1,8,27, ... 0^3, 1^3, 2^3 ... pattern for terms There is no common difference and there is no common ratio.
