Nathan and Steven stacked boxes on a shelf. Nathan lifted 13 boxes and Steven lifted 15 boxes. The boxes that Nathan lifted each weighed 12 lb more than the boxes Steven lifted. Let s represent the weight of the boxes that Steven lifted. What expression represents the total number of pounds Nathan lifted? 12(s+13)12(s+13) 15(s+12)15(s+12) s + 12 13(s+12)

We know that Nathan lifted `13 boxes`. We also know that `Nathan lifted 12lb more than Steven did`.`more than` in Math means a sum of Stevens with 12lb.... `(12 +s) Now each box weighed 12lbs more than Steven's....we know for a fact that Nathan lifted `13 boxes`.....`each` means multiply...so our equation would be `13(12+s)`
