Well, it's a little difficult to just help with this instead of giving you answers (as prohibited in the CoC), but I can ask you a few questions that may help...
Day One: What's your favorite tool that scientists use on ships (I assume...)? What do you know about it? What does it do? What kind of organisms live in the sea where you are that this instrument would help you see/capture?
Day Two: What recreational activities would people do on ships? What do they eat? When do they go to bed? When do they wake up?
