Is this correct? triangles
I think this is false hold on let me check
https://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20070410172519AAk8c1P people are saying false as well
but your question does say sometimes
yeah I think false since the bottom area is missing and it would have to be similar as well :/
i think it is true because isosceles triangles have two equal angles every time
It's pair of isosceles triangle @OtherWorldly
ok so...?
A single isosceles triangle do have the property of possessing equal Angles but we r asked about similarity between two different isosceles triangle
to be similar the third side would also have to be the same
and equilateral triangle is always similar
If we take two congruent isosceles triangle then those two triangle can also be counted similar
well then i guess u got ur answer @quickstudent its false
yup
Two congruent isosceles triangle may be similar. My opinion is true
But I don't understand, can't two isosceles triangles have the same angle measures? I'm sure that could happen sometimes, and that would make them similar, right?
I guess I'm bias because they could be but most of the time they are not similar
