If the base of a pyramid is a polygon, what is the shape of all of the sides of the pyramid? How many sides are there (not including the base)?

The sides shape of pyramid (not including the base) is always triangle no matter how is the shape of the base. To find amount of sides using formula (the sides of the base of the pyramid + 1)
