OpenStudy (khally92):

Light from a 600 nm source goes through two slits 0.080 mm apart. What is the angular separation of the two first order maxima occurring on a screen 2.0 m from the slits..... Help please.

OpenStudy (khally92):

Answer is 0.86degrees, Dont seems to get it right

OpenStudy (osprey):

I wouldn’t have thought that the ANGULAR separation had much connection with the distance to the screen. OK, the DISTANCE you have to go to SEE the fringes will be larger, and that’s a good thing for experimental “protocol”. Enclosed is my attempt. I can get the numbers you quoted but I don't follow the question. bon chance et bon voyage http://perendis.webs.com
