OpenStudy (stiver03):

when were the middle ages A. before medieval times B. between modern ancient times C. after modern times D. between medieval and ancient times

OpenStudy (caominhim):

i do believe ancient times is not a historical name for a period of time

OpenStudy (dragoness):

The Middle Ages/Medieval Period is between the Fall of the Roman Empire and the Renaissance. Who gave you this question? None of the answers really seem well worded. I'm not familiar really with the word "ancient times" except I guess as a blanket term for ancient history. The Middle Ages and Medieval Period are the same point in time I do believe? So it isn't A. & certainly isn't C as it isn't in between "modern times" although late middle ages is referred to as modern. So I suppose D is the closet to the right answer though as I said medieval times are the same as the middle ages. ^^'
