i do believe ancient times is not a historical name for a period of time

Who gave you this question? None of the answers really seem well worded. I'm not familiar really with the word "ancient times" except I guess as a blanket term for ancient history.

The Middle Ages and Medieval Period are the same point in time I do believe? So it isn't A. & certainly isn't C as it isn't in between "modern times" although late middle ages is referred to as modern. So I suppose D is the closet to the right answer though as I said medieval times are the same as the middle ages. ^^'
