Which are quadratic equations?
Standard form of quadratics: \(ax^2 + bx + c = 0\)
Any equation of the form ax^2+bx+c=0 is a quadratic equation where a is not equal to zero and a,b,c are real numbers
so c and d?
Yep
okay how would you determine a graph opening downward in the same form?
Can you give me an example?
Like do you mean determining whether the parabola is going to face up or down?
see attachment
Well if the a value is positive then the parabola faces upward and if the a value is negative then the parabola faces downward.
so would any of them be? B?
B works and then there's one more. You might need to rearrange them if you'd want to see it in the standard form
ohh d?
Yep
can u help with a few more? i do online school so its hard understanding some concepts but youre really helpful
Sure but can you make new posts?
Or else the thread might get too long
