for a MEDAL can anyone help put these as expressions? I cant figure them out The quotient of two less than a number and five is eight. The product of four more than a number and nine is fifteen. The quotient of the difference of a number and three and seven times the number is three.

1st one.. Let the number be x.. Then by the given condition (x-2)/5=8 i.e. x-2=40 i.e. x=42
