OpenStudy (sissyedgar):

\[\frac{ 3t+3 }{ 5 } = 6\] t = ? I believe it equals 3

OpenStudy (shadowlegendx):

Multiply both sides by 5\[3t + 3 = 30\]

OpenStudy (shadowlegendx):

Subtract 3 \[3t = 27\]

OpenStudy (shadowlegendx):

Divide by 3 \[t = 9\]

OpenStudy (shadowlegendx):

\[\frac{ 3(9) + 3 }{ 5 } = 6\]

OpenStudy (shadowlegendx):

30/5 = 6 is correct

OpenStudy (shadowlegendx):
