How did lunar tides differ from solar tides?

OpenStudy (linktra):

Lunar tides differ from solar tides because 1: Lunar tides are affects on the tides made by the moon's gravity pull. While solar tides are affects on the tides made by the sun's gravity pull. 2: Lunar tides are twice as strong as solar tides because the moon is close to earth and therefor has a larger gravitational affect on the earth's tides. I hope this helps! :D
