You need to write something you feel strongly about. You need to have your "feelings" in it. Such as politics, sports, bullying, opportunity, ect. You need to have some facts in the persuasive speech. You also need to make it entertaining to the reader. To pull them in to what you are saying. You don't want to try to persuade them and then say something like "Dogs are brown and that is my favorite color. Sort of like the bark on a tree." I have seen this in a writing class before and that is not what you want. You want something that will hook them and then reel them in. The reason you need to have feeling in it is because you need to write something you believe in.
