B. Enslaved African workers :) Seeing as the English used Triangle Trade to trade rum for slaves, and then took these slaves through the Middle Passage, that would be the answer. Only the middle colonies and southern colonies used slaves, however. New England colonies only had synthetic plantations. I hope this explanation helped with further questions as well.
