It stated on the top: `Given angle ABC and angle CBD are complementary angles.` So `It is given that angle ABC and angle CBD are complementary angles.`

563blackghost (563blackghost):

Since `angle ABC and angle CBD are complementary angles` then they would equal to a total of 90 degrees since that is the definition of complementary angles so... `angle ABC plus angle CBD equal 90 degrees using the definition of complementary angles.`

OpenStudy (ivitt):

I'm still here

563blackghost (563blackghost):

Since we are also given that `angle ABC is equal to 25 degrees` we would substitute that into the equation `angle ABC plus angle CBD is equal to 90 degrees`. So `you have 25 + angle CBD is equal to 90 degrees.`

OpenStudy (ivitt):

And the last one would be 25 right?

563blackghost (563blackghost):

Yup :)

OpenStudy (ivitt):

Okay thanks :D
