OpenStudy (savy):

A CD ROM drive in a computer spins the 12cm diameter disk at 9500rpm.. what is the Period in seconds?

OpenStudy (savy):

So first I put the rev/minute into rev/second and got 158rps which would be frequency...then to get period i did 1/rps which came out to be .006seconds BUT my online homework is saying this is incorrect???

OpenStudy (savy):

@Abhisar am i doing something wrong here?

OpenStudy (abhisar):

You are doing nothing wrong. But your answer is approximate. Try submitting the exact answer.

OpenStudy (savy):

It wants it in only 2 sig figs...so I tried doing 6.0*10^-3 and that didn't work either

OpenStudy (abhisar):

Umm..then I don't see any error here.
