Describe the importance of agriculture to the people of Central America. Why is an agrarian based society often bad for a country? What are the future problems that must be addressed related to agriculture in Central America?

Agriculture is a significant part of Central American countries. In fact, in some countries it is nearly the entire economy. That's where the problem comes in.
You may have heard the term "Banana Republic". Yes a clothing store took that name but it is a term used to describe a country in which only one crop, bananas, dominates the economy. It could be another crop, but it's like the whole country is one big plantation.
This is not good for a country. A diversified economy promotes innovation, promotes education for citizens and is much better for democracy.
In future, economic diversification should improve conditions in most of those countries.
