OpenStudy (twistrose):

Solve for x. 4−(2x+4)=5 x=−10 x=−52 x=6 x=3/2

OpenStudy (will.h):

Solve fr x 4 - (2x+4) = 5 let's focus on the parentheses 1st simplify the -(2x+4) using sidtrubtive property - is same as -1 tho so we will get -2x -4 after simplifying the -(2x + 4) so that means the new expression we have is 4 -2x - 4 = 5 combine alike terms 4 - 4 is zero and so we have now -2x = 5 divide both sides by -2 x = 5/-2

OpenStudy (twistrose):

ok thank you so much

OpenStudy (will.h):

you welcome
