Hello everyone, 

I have noticed many posts regarding the topic of OpenStudy being/becoming 'dead'. I also notice how the majority of the responses on such posts have contained negative thoughts/ideas which has been sucking away at the hope that many people have had for OpenStudy and has caused more and more people to depart from here to never return. 

We must remember that OpenStudy is an immensely unique platform filled with many passionate and dedicated people like you and I. Our new owners may not see the full potential of OpenStudy, and as OpenStudy continues to become more desolate, the negative thoughts we have had may soon come to be true. If we keep on losing hope, it is inevitable that OpenStudy will eventually fall, as one by one we will each abandon the site until there are none left. This is why we must $\small\bf\underline{\color{blueviolet}{spread~hope}}$, bring new users here, and increase the activity here.

$\small\bf\underline{The~future~of~OpenStudy~relies~on~us~now;}$ we must keep on inviting new users and keep on helping each other with as many questions as we can each day. The more we keep on inviting and helping and being active, the more OpenStudy will grow, which in turn increases the likeliness of our new owners to really give OpenStudy a chance and keep it going. Right now, they likely see OpenStudy as something irrelevant to their own website, which is why they are trying to get only the userbase from here. We can change their perspective though by showing them just how valuable OpenStudy is and by giving them a reason to keep it going.

So please, if you really are passionate about OpenStudy and do not wish to see it fall, invite your friends here and be more active here (asking/answering questions, talking in chats, etc.), as each and every one of us is the key that OpenStudy needs in order to begin to thrive again and continue to live on.

I have Brainly before Openstudy. But, have you seen Brainly? Everytime I asked a question someand see my questions and leave. So if anyone says "Openstudy is defd"

As long as there are still users actively online, it positively is $\bf\underline{not}$ dead. 
It is true that we indeed are quite close to that point. However, we can still revive what has been lost before it's all gone; we must do so whilst we still have the chance. 

That is why it is most crucial now to start doing more of the following:

Maybe if OS made some updates and used ALL the suggestions I've seen for so many years, this site would still be alive and lit as a christmas tree. You know what I mean. Every time I log in, I see no change.

^ best part is... that there was a time that almost every 5 min. for 6 months. OS had their "Owl be back, updates on their way" and when OS would be back up, It was the same thing.

We are arguing whether a site is "dead" or not. Really, people? Use your brains! 50+ people get on this site every day. I see a new person every other day. 2 questions are posted every minute in just Mathematics. WAKE UP!! Keep entertaining negative thoughts and suddenly they'll become real! You're discouraging every newbie that sees this. Plz stop with the Openstudy dead stuff!

When we say Openstudy is dead, we mean that it has lost more than half the daily users it used to have in the past... you're pretty new to this site I guess... so I guess I can't blame you for not knowing.
