58=213 how is this possible?
anybody? please?
Strictly speaking, this is not possible. From where did you get this question? Are you trying to show that 213 in one base is equal to 58 in another base?
i dont know this was in my textbook it was one of the problems that my teacher wrote in. "one base" "another base"? what is that?
Needs more context, otherwise you should obviously know that 58 is not equal to 213.
yes yes we talked about this but she strictly said that you can find a way to find out how this is equal.
"base" triggered a bell we might've talked about that I do not know. can you explain it to me?
The ONLY way to find out how it is true is to repair the notational deficiency. Where is the expression missing what? Throw out a guess.
\(58_{10} = 213_{5}\), for example. Maybe \(58_{20} = 213_{7}\).
\(58_{41} = 213_{10}\)
