x-intercept: Set y=0 in the given equation and solve for x. Then write the intercept as (x,0). Similar approach to finding the y-intercept. Seet x=0, find y, write this point as (0,y).
Or, just divide by 15. y/3 + x/(-5)=1 Kinda staring at you like that.
If you choose to use tkhunny's suggestion, then find the intercepts in the same way: First, let x=0 and find y; then let y=0 and find x. Show your work, please.
