OpenStudy (mrnood):

Can you explain where you are having difficulty? |x| just means 'take the positive value of x regardless of whether it has a - sign So |-4| = 4 (Hint: you can see that 4 is NOT <4, therefore Answer B cannot be correct) Have a look at all the other options and see which has all the possible values <4

OpenStudy (kiri1):

So, which one is it?

OpenStudy (kiri1):

Is it D?

I am not here to give answers, or to confirm guesses, just to guide you to how to do it for yourself. Take each answer and write the values of |x| for each. THEN look and see which includes all the integers<4
