OpenStudy (studygurl14):

the first two are correct for sure. the third one you cannot determine

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

Notice first that the three vertical lines, AB, CD, and EF, are all perpendicular to the top horizontal line, GH.

OpenStudy (studygurl14):

CD and GH are perpendicular, given by the right angle

OpenStudy (studygurl14):

@mathstudent55 can explain it better. I have to go eat lunch! XD

OpenStudy (narissa):

Alright cya :)

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

Lines that are perpendicular tot eh same line are parallel. Since lines AB, CD, and DE are all perpendicular to line GH, then lines AB, CD, and DE are all parallel.

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

We know nothing about lines IJ and KL.

OpenStudy (narissa):

Thank you @mathstudent55 @StudyGurl14

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

Great job, @StudyGurl14
