OpenStudy (shesolitt):

I WILL MEDAL AND FAN. For the functions f(x) = 2x − 6 and g(x) = 5x + 1, which composition produces the greatest output? Both compositions produce the same output. Neither composition produces an output. f(g(x)) produces the greatest output. g(f(x)) produces the greatest output.

OpenStudy (shesolitt):

im not sure if its C or D

OpenStudy (rz172):

I think it's C.

OpenStudy (dumptybaby):

F(g(x)) produces the greatest output

OpenStudy (shesolitt):

thank you both!

OpenStudy (shesolitt):

who deserves the medal

OpenStudy (shesolitt):

idk lmao

OpenStudy (shesolitt):

an you help me with a few more?

OpenStudy (dumptybaby):

Because it gives 10x-4 and D) gives 10x -29, if you plug in any x, subtracting 4 from an x would give a higher value than subtracting 29
