OpenStudy (codysek98):

Find an equation of the tangent to the curve f(x) = (2x^2)-2x+1 that has a slope 2. Use the limit of the difference quotient. I know I just did one using the limit of the difference quotient, however, I'm not sure how to do that without having an x given to me. Do I just work it out in terms of x?

OpenStudy (karim728):

all you really need to find out if when is the function's slop =6, and to do that take the derivative of the function then set it equal to 6|dw:1476204108008:dw|
