Still need help on this @Weaver ?

OpenStudy (weaver):

yes, I was trying to google the steps but I don't understand

563blackghost (563blackghost):

xD Yea that does not work at ALL... I should know IVE TRIED

563blackghost (563blackghost):

So for 1 the reason would be Given since it is stated on the top...

563blackghost (563blackghost):

Since the statment1 says that `angle 1 is complementary to angle 2` that would mean that they both add up to equal to 90 degrees...So for Statment2 you would put `angle 1 + angle 2 = 90`

563blackghost (563blackghost):

For Statment3 you would put what you are also given..... `Line BD bisects angle ADC`

563blackghost (563blackghost):

Got it so far?

OpenStudy (weaver):

yes

563blackghost (563blackghost):

Due to the fact that `Line BD bisects angle ADC` that would mean that `angle 2 is equal to angle 3` due to the bisection....so for Reason4 it would be `Definition of angle bisector` which states that a line that bisects an angle creates two equal angles....

563blackghost (563blackghost):

For Reason5 I don't really have a good explanation for it but we convert from being congruent to equal which would be `Transitive Property of Equality`

OpenStudy (weaver):

How do you know all of this!!! Jeez you're sooo smart!

563blackghost (563blackghost):

:P I don't know....I hated proofs before but for some reason Im good at them xD

563blackghost (563blackghost):

Though I am a bit stuck on 6..

OpenStudy (weaver):

I wish I was as good as you are at math but no matter how hard I try I fail so I just give up and post them on openstudy lol

563blackghost (563blackghost):

Its good to try and try again :) Yes math is hard but if you take it in your own pace youll learn it ;) It worked for me, maybe you just need to find your `"study rhythm"`

OpenStudy (weaver):

Yea I guess you're right :) Maybe we can skip 6 what about 7?

563blackghost (563blackghost):

Wait I think Statment6 is that since `angle 2 is equal to angle 3` then we would substitute it into our equation from before `angle 1 + angle 2 = 90` so it would then become.... `angle 1 + angle 3 = 90`

563blackghost (563blackghost):

Statment7 is the statement we want to prove so... `angle 1 is complementary to angle 3`

563blackghost (563blackghost):

We simply change the equation into words so I would believe Reason7 is `definition of complementary`

OpenStudy (weaver):

Oh i thought it was proven lol

563blackghost (563blackghost):

I wish ;) I believe thats it :)

OpenStudy (weaver):

Alright Thank you

563blackghost (563blackghost):

Your very welcome :)
