False. Limestone, because it is a sedimentary rock. Most sedimentary rocks are rather soft because they have simply been buried and compressed. Limestone is also a basic salt of Calcium, calcium carbonate. It will dissolve in any acid and weather very quickly. Rainwater contains carbonic acid from the reaction of carbon dioxide.
