OpenStudy (tylermckinney16):

Granite tends to weather at a faster rate than limestone. True False

OpenStudy (hawk):

True

Directrix (directrix):

False. Limestone, because it is a sedimentary rock. Most sedimentary rocks are rather soft because they have simply been buried and compressed. Limestone is also a basic salt of Calcium, calcium carbonate. It will dissolve in any acid and weather very quickly. Rainwater contains carbonic acid from the reaction of carbon dioxide. This natural acid breaks down the limestone. http://tinyurl.com/jykjmjn @TylerMckinney16
