And y = the number of downloads of the high-quality version

Write an equation for the total size downloaded for the two versions in which is:

2.8x + 4.3y = 4082

Since the high quality version was downloaded 3 times the standard version, then y = 3x.

Just substitute y = 3x into the original equation in which is:

2.8x + 4.3*3x = 4082
