OpenStudy (toukakirishima):

What is different about the blood carried by the arteries going to the body and the blood carried by the arteries going to the lungs? Will medal!!

OpenStudy (jp777):

Its been a while since i learned anatomy, but i kinda know this by heart. Blood being carried to the lungs has no oxygen and only carbon dioxide that has been expelled by organs and other cells. Then, the lung exchanges these gases. Then the Blood being pumped throughout the body is oxygen-rich blood that feeds the organs and tissues, meaning it already exchanged gases and is basically making another "loop" around the body.
