(Before Operation- “Defense Of Jaku”) I didn’t see War at all. I just looked at it as, the pride of a distressed faith clashing heavily against the rebellion of new ideas. Both entities opposing each other in my heart and were in mortal combat in my mind. In a flash second, I went from scraping Clankers to killing those we perceived as Gods, if they could fall how much more could we? I watched in horror as everything that I loved and knew, plummeted face down into burning hell! We were just like cattle herded toward the line of fire. I turned to my right to see Stormtrooper “08” shaking uncontrollably from head to toe, with panic and sheer terror in his eyes. He barely had a hold of his weapon, with no poise whatsoever, just waiting his turn to be slaughtered. In his mind he had been reduced down to Cannon Fodder anyway. I was temporarily snapped back into the realty of the moment when an Imperial Commander punched me hard on my shoulder and said, “He’s your problem now”, he snarled! Looking down at him; He was just a shiny rookie in armor, fresh off the assembly line. He hadn’t seen a day of combat in his artificial life, except in a war simulator. Oh, how I envied him though, for not having the putrid smell of charred corpses fresh in his nostrils. Knowing full well, that my jealousy will turn full circle in a little while to pity, as the sights of War, the fighting and gore are etched forever into his subconscious memory.

I grabbed him by his dog tags gently; I brought my scorched helmet toward his, and began to sing lowly, “Though we are baptized by the fire, though we are engaged in combat I won’t desert you. Through the trenches of crimson and rivers of tears we cry for the fallen, we will endure. If I should fall then lay me next to you my brother in arms. In your alarm I will come rushing to your aid, in your fears I’ll be the guiding light that see’s you through the storm and delivers you.” Then the cargo doors opened to the sea of Manan, dancing serenely with the stars above. A duet of beauty and peace temporarily distracting us from relentless barrage of lasers from the marine floor “So this is where Heaven and Hell collide” I whispered. A flash of brilliant blue stunned our eyes momentarily "Welcome to Hell show them your fangs Wolf pack! shouted 06.

I tried to block the emotion, but it kept hounding me. “We’re not heartless monsters or hallow drones” she said, choking each word as she placed her other hand on my chest fervently. I could do nothing but stare into those soul searching eyes. “Don’t lose your way, my brother in arms, commit my love to your memories. If you should begin to falter don’t lose your way.” She took her final breath of life, as I watched the light drained from her eyes where a heartbeat was, the sound of silence set in. it slowly set in my beloved sister taken prisoner by the cuffs of death, A daunted look remained on her reminding me of the sorrow, and anguish I left behind in the battle of Kashyyyk "Don’t place your faith in my survival, I’ll just fail you." I said distantly. I sat in the entrenched scorching crimson sands of Jakku behind a makeshift barricade holding her tattered body “Incoming!” Conrad shouted. As red death mortared in from the AT-AT the ocean sky turned a hellish color, I closed my eyes bracing for impact.
