how does crime affect family?
It just does, because it's crime.
Crime can affect a family in a couple ways. First of all, it's usually a traumatic experience which can cause breakdowns in relationships within the family. The trauma will affect how each individual family members functions on a daily basis, possibly disturbing routines. It will affect the income of the family; if the crime was a theft, or something similar, then that would leave the family with very little to continue their usual expenses - e.g. food for the whole family. Not only that, the working individuals may take time off work and therefore lose that as a way of income for however long they take off. There are some more points you could add, but I hope this helps you.
