OpenStudy (kpoprocks21):

Is the horizontal asymptote of f(x)=x^2-100/x-100 there is none?

OpenStudy (holsteremission):

I assume you mean \(f(x)=\dfrac{x^2-100}{x-100}\), which for \(x\neq100\) simplifies to \(x+100\), a non-horizontal line. So yes, \(f(x)\) has no horizontal asymptotes.
