pythagorean theorem
This is basically the pythagorean theorem. Where side a^2 + side b^2 = hypotenuse^2 And they squared every sides by literally making it into a square.
XY and YZ are the 2 sides, and XZ is the hypotenuse. The square area gives you the length of the triangle's sides' squared value so that's already done.
