Why do you think soil issues don't receive more attention? Do you think that a greater public awareness is important for addressing soil issues? If so, how would it help?

Not sure how this relates to math but I think because it isn't trending/controversial, then no one would really know or care to know about it. If you want to increase public awareness of it, there's many forms of people trying to do that through formal ways of lobbying and informal ways of protests and rallying (grassroots mobilization). I forgot if litigation is informal or not, but that's also another way to increase public awareness of it. Public Opinion doesn't always play the big role of policy making.
