How would I solve the problem in the picture.
May I help?
Yes please :)
Thank you.
You're welcome. :) heh
First off, BD is normal and bisects AC. That means that AD=DC ok?
Yes I understand.
Then we can conclude that there are two congruent triangles.
So x would be 60
x=60?
Are you sure?
So x doesn't equal 60?
Not quite. Since the other angle is equal to 60 as well we can find what x equals in the expression `3x`... \(\huge\bf{3x=60}\)
Oh okay I see..
I agree that the 2 triangles in question are congruent. Thus angle DAB equals angle BCD. The first angle is 60 degrees and the second is 3x degrees. Solve for x.
So what ever times 3 equals x? Correct?
@3mar I believe Ivitt was confused due to the fact for the angle of DCB you had put `x` instead of `3x`
Correct :) So to find x you would divide by 3 from each side and find x :)
So I multiply and divide or do I just divide. @563blackghost
ohhhhh sorry My mistake
That's okay 3mar :)
You would divide since what we are trying to find `x` is being multiplied by 3...we work backwards basically to get x to itself... so we divide by 3 from each side to isolate x and we divide 60 by 3 as well ;)
SOOOOOOOOOOOORRRRRRRRRYYYYYYYYYYY
All's good 3mar ;)
Thanks seriously! I enjoy the help :)
So 20 is the answer :)

Okay yay! As I sadi before thanks for the help and explanation, it really helps :)
@Ivitt The medal belongs to 563blackghost ! She deserves it!
Your very welcome ;) And nicely explained 3mar :)
