I actually dont know how to do this one
Question 31 of 56 i am so close to being done
i get 1/2 points off for it being late though :(
Hint the diagonals of a rhombus are at right angles to each other so the triangle with the marked angles is a right angled triangle.
So what should i do?
well the 2 angles marked add up to 90 degrees
|dw:1476539364683:dw|
so form an equation 3x + 5 + 3x - 11 = 90 and solve for x.
I got 14 11-5=6 3x+3x=6x 90-6=84 84/6=14
X=14?
theres a mistake on the 4 th line.
what?
its not 90 - 6
+6
if so then it would be X=16x
right beacaus -11 + 5 = -6 and you have to add 6 to both sides
6x - 11 + 5 = 90 6x - 6 = 90 6x -6 + 6 = 90 + 6 6x = 96 x = 16 Yes
Its best to write the solution as above that way you are less likely to make errors
do you follow what I mean - write the whole equation on each line - not part of it.
thank you :D
yw the method is as important as getting the correct answer.
