Three of the vertices of □ABCD are given. Find the coordinates of point D. 1. A(3,6) B(6,7) C(6,3) D(x,y)? 2. A(-3,-4) B(-3,2) C(-1,4) D(x,y) 3. A(6,0) B(0,4) C(-4,2)D(x,y) 4. A(-1,0) B(4,-1) C(2,-4) D (x,y)
did you sketch a plot of the points they gave you ?
Yes, I did sketch the points. I thought the first one would form a parallelogram but, I'm not sure
It looks like those are 4 separate questions each one wants you to find the coords of point D
Here are the points in Q1
Yup, they're 4 seperate questions. Oh I wasn't sure if I was allowed to post 4 separate questions, sorry. But, how exactly do I find the coordinates of point D? do I just randomly guess and pick a point or?
there are two spots you can put D 1) look at B to C. put D so A to D is identical to B to C (if that makes sense) 2) look at A to B, put D is C to D is the same up and over. you should end up with parallel sides
ohh so for the first one, can D be (3,2)?
