when lines intersect like that then the 'opposite angles' are equal (think of a pair of scissors - the blades open by the same angle that the handles open!) So the 2 angles marked in the diagram are equal so 6(x-2) = (3x+30) So now you can work out a value for x Then use that to find the angle
