MEDAL How did the outcome of French Indian War lead to an increase in British policies (taxes) in the American colonies?

KjSaif (kjsaif):

this is for the social studies section

KjSaif (kjsaif):

It increased because Colonists should help pay for the costs of the french and Indian

OpenStudy (kalebj):

During the French Indian wars the Indian favored the French and mainly sided with them After the wars It was the English policy to keep the indians out west away from the colonist The American Indian were a backward and salvage people who just took what they wanted, women as well, and would not work the fields as they considered this women's work They do not even have the wheel You well find few indians in northern Mexico as they just shoot them on sight The ones in the southwest build their home in caves that could only be reached by ladders to protect themselves from other indians After our 1st war with England T Jefferson [One of our founding fathers] said ''they [english] turned the salvages loose on us'' After our 2nd war 1812 A Jackson [he is on our $20] said because they [indians] sided with the English in both of our war they must move out west You have heard of the trail of tears Those that own land could stay put the rest had to go On the trail of tears there were over 2000 black slaves to work the fields The 1st record of indian massacre was in 1639 a unnamed village above Jamestown everyone was killed women raped a unborn baby cut from her dead mother and placed on a stake next to her At the end of both of our wars with England their allies ,the indians, were never mentioned in our peace treaty's The indians felt and were betrayed There is a big push to rewrite history in this matter i e Doc above me Just the good and fair minded brit The go along to get along co exist brit What B/S Source(s): Speedog I live over the pond today they are saying their troops were needed to keep us yanks from killing the indians We were part of the empire and subject to it They fight to hold to what they considered their land Their empire Ray.isBack · 8 years ago

I lie still like that might help, like silence is a language my thoughts forgot. They line up with receipts, proof of moments I replayed too many times to pretend they were accidents. Iu2019m fluent in overthinking itu2019s the only subject I never skipped. I can turn one sentence into a courtroom drama, cross-examine my tone, convict myself without witnesses. People call me u201cstrongu201d because I donu2019t spill. They donu2019t see the cup shaking in my hands, how much effort it takes to keep the surface calm. Confidence comes in phases. Some days it fits like skin. Some days itu2019s a costume I forget Iu2019m wearing until it starts to pinch. I laugh on cue. I answer u201cfineu201d with convincing timing. Iu2019ve learned where to pause, how long eye contact should last, how not to sound like a question when Iu2019m one. The past isnu2019t loud. It doesnu2019t need to be. It just clears its throat at the wrong moments, reminds me what I already survived and what might try again. But hereu2019s the part I donu2019t downplay I stay. Even when my thoughts argue in circles, even when doubt files appeals. I choose presence over perfection. Breath over escape. I donu2019t win every round, but I donu2019t forfeit myself either. I am not the static. I am the one listening, deciding what deserves a response and what can fade without taking my name with it.
