OpenStudy (8bitfox):

Can someone help please, i'm learning about how to solve inequality and I have no idea what to do 52 +z > 52-z can someone explain to me?

OpenStudy (josh.darnit10):

Okay. So pretty much all an inequality is an equation in which can have multiple varying numbers for the variable. So if I have 2x + 3 > 9, the x must be GREATER than the value of 3. Solve it out like an actual eaquation, and bring your inequality sign down.

OpenStudy (josh.darnit10):

So really, 52 + z > 52 - z the z's cancel out, (z-z) and z has to equal zero, because 52=52

OpenStudy (josh.darnit10):

Can I ask where you got the times 5 from?
