FAN + MEDAL - PLEASE HELP a. Write a linear equation in Standard form. Tell how you know it is linear. b. Use the coefficients and constant term to name the slope and y-intercept of the graph. Then write the equation in slope-intercept form. c. Use the y-intercept and slope to graph the equation. Explain how you graphed the equation. d. Write an equation whose graph is parallel to the graph in part c. Tell how you know they are parallel. (5 pts) e. Write an equation of a line perpendicular to the graph in part c. Tell how you know they are perpendicular.
Linear equations are in the form: Ax + By = C Slope: (-B/A) y-intercept: y=mx+b where m is the slope where b is the y-intercept Parallel lines have the same slope. Perpendicular lines have slope that is the negative reciprocal. ex. if the slope is (1/3) then the perpendicular slope is (-3/1)
