Are the following figures similar? Trapezoids ABCD and EFGH are shown. Angle A equals 137 degrees, Angle B equals 90 degrees, Angle C equals 90 degrees, Angle D equals 43 degrees, Angle E equals 136 degrees, Angle F equals 90 degrees, Angle G equals 90 degrees, Angle H equals 44 degrees. No; the corresponding angles are not congruent No; the corresponding sides are not proportional Yes; the corresponding angles are congruent Yes; the corresponding sides are proportional I can't decide between A and B. Please someone help. Thank you!

@DanJS please help me

OpenStudy (danjs):

To be similar, all the corresponding angles from one to the other must be the same values. The side lengths can vary by some multiple for similar figures, like zooming in or out, the angles stay the same, but the sides can change length

OpenStudy (julyah1):

So it's A?

OpenStudy (danjs):

Right. The given angles are different

OpenStudy (julyah1):

thank you!

OpenStudy (danjs):

welcome
