"Math Quantitative Literacy" sounds like a book or a course.  You seem to be asking whether others are familiar with it.  We don't "do" Literacy per se.

You're throwing a fair die.  List all of the possible outcomes.  There are 6 of those.  
How many of these outcomes are less than 3?

Form a fraction:  x / 6.  Can you explain why this is the way to go?
