OpenStudy (narissa):

is it 1080

OpenStudy (narissa):

there is none

OpenStudy (mathmale):

If you'd please look up "interior angles of a polygon," you'll likely find a formula for the sum of the interior angles of a polygon of n sides. Please try that. Come back here if you still feel stuck. Hint: "octa-" means 8 of something. Thus, the value of 'n' in the formula mentioned above will be 8: n=8.

OpenStudy (narissa):

so its 1080

OpenStudy (horse_rider_133):

i would think so

OpenStudy (mathmale):

Yes, if you've used the correct formula, and let n=8.

OpenStudy (3mar):

Sorry for being late! It was an emergency call.

OpenStudy (narissa):

is this right

OpenStudy (3mar):

Yes

OpenStudy (narissa):

ok next posting please

OpenStudy (3mar):

Sorry for late.

OpenStudy (3mar):

for octagon: 8 sides 8 angles each angle equal \[(8-2)(180)/8=\] and the sum of the angles is (8-2)*180=1080
