Pick 2 points from the chart (2.5,4.5) (4,7.2) Slope = Y2-Y1/X2-X1 Slope = 7.2-4.5/4-2.5 Slope = 2.7/1.5 Slope = 1.8 So Larry rate is 1.8x Which means Larry is faster So the rate of Larry is 0.555x
